Register an interest to ensure I have a voice in the proceedings. I oppose any increase in aircraft noise and deplore the negative impact on climate change that additional flights will create. My home is outside the NPR for a reason: the new runway will increase flights over Reigate north of the NPR and devalue my home. We already have to endure considerable overflight from Heathrow westerly departures, which cause disturbance and distress. Our physical wellbeing and mental health would be threatened through increase in aircraft movement and decline in air quality. There is no existing northern runway currently operating as a 2nd runway in conjunction with the main runway and, as such, Gatwick is misleading residents to the existence of a 2nd runway currently. Gatwick pay lip service to local needs and consultation. They are a bad neighbour who cannot be trusted. Their words and promises mean nothing, as has been shown time and time again.
