Gatwick Airport Northern Runway

The operation of this new runway will significantly increase noise pollution where I live ( and also many other house holders in Smallfield and Horley) as the flight path will be much closer to my house. I am also concerned that the operation of night flights will disturb me more at night especially during the summer months when windows are open. Why are so many night flights between 11am and 6am permitted? Should these be curtailed in line with regulations at Heathrow if a second runway is approved.
