Living under a flight path into Gatwick, I’m very aware of the increase in air traffic over the past 30 years. I consider the present volume of traffic to be the maximum that should be permitted but I understand that this will continue to increase. However, I consider that the increased number of movements proposed here is totally unacceptable for those affected by noise and disturbance and most of all because of the huge increase in air pollution. Care for the environment alone should make this proposal unthinkable.
