The increase in traffic on road and rail will have huge impact on locals. Further congestion of all roads as the rail line cannot be increased and roads are already overloaded at peak hours. No solution has been put forward as there is none unless drastic measures are taken which Gatwick Airport will not pay for. The skies will also become congested and flight paths pushed out over more communities. Having been put under one of these by Gatwick Airport with no consultation I know how bad the impact is and although we got this reverted, partially I might add, for 6 months the constant noise from aircraft was unbearable. Gatwick has already been rejected for a second runway but they continue to push knowing full well that locals don't want the expansion.
