  1. Climate Emergency. There is a pressing case not to expand any airport anywhere. Government policy needs to reflect this in what is permitted. 2. Effects on health of noise and air pollution: heart and lung disease, dementia and so on. 3. The emergency runway is not existing it is exactly that an EMERGENCY runway and will need to be moved and rebuilt if the plans go ahead 4. The impact on immediate and neighbours further afield in Surrey, Sussex, Kent and London will be horrendous from noise, atmospheric pollution, and additional traffic to and from the airport. 5. There is no room for additional rail or road links to and from an expanded airport 6. There are water restrictions in the area relating to usage and new builds so there would be insufficient housing for the number of employees needed. 7. The type of employment needed is all year round high quality employment not subject to continual automation in the way that checkin and baggage handling has been, in addition to self service in shops. 8. employment needs to be pandemic proof 9. Congestion in an already overcongested area
