We only see this development as having a positive impact on the local mid Sussex area and wider South East area. Gatwick Airport is already a major international hub but has little detrimental affect on local life here. It brings jobs, economic prosperity and opportunities for all local business. Specifically we benefit hugely from our close location to the airport attracting many overseas clients for our world renowned education and learning facilities. Personally I have lived and worked in Mid Sussex for more than 20 years and see the airport as a huge asset. It is well managed, self contained and has never had a detrimental affect on my quality of life, an expansion of this sort will be a huge benefit to the area and the country.
