This application is misleading in that the present ‘second’ runway is in fact an emergency one which is too close to the runway and never used at the same time. This application will have a grave impact on climate change, increase the noise pollution and will be difficult to support with the present local infrastructure. Finally do the flight statistics do not really suggest there is a need for such an increase in flights.
