I and my wife have owned and occupied (redacted) since 1979. The house is at the West end of the LGW airport runways and slightly to the North. We will be severely and adversely impacted by the proposals. The proposal to move the North runway nearer to our property, much closer than when it was the Emergency runway, and use it much more frequently will result in a considerable increase in aircraft noise and disturbance, both from aircraft on the ground and in the air. In addition, the increase in car parks, vehicular traffic and people working at and travelling to and from LGW will increase the disturbance by a considerable extent. Any development as proposed will cause my wife and I considerable discomfort, inconvenience and disturbance. It will make living at (redacted), our lovely home for over 44 years, intolerable.
