Dear Sirs, Our firm represents the owners of properties surrounding the area of Gatwick Airport. In view of the recent Notice of Acceptance of an Application for Development Order (TR020005), we wish to submit representation of our clients’ concerns of the runway development as follows:- 1) Air pollution from increasing gas and carbon emissions of aircrafts traffic having direct health impact to the public contributing to severe respiratory disease and aggravates asthma, lung cancer, stroke, etc. 2) Increased noise and light pollution from aircrafts and related traffic having adverse effects to the quality of life of residents. 3) Contributing traffic congestion causing stress to residents’ daily lives. 4) The expansion of airport and the above contributing factors will be detrimental to the value of surrounding properties and lands. We wish to state that our clients object to the Gatwick Airport Northern Runway Project based on the above and the expected environment and climate change will have adverse effects to the public and residents at Gatwick.
