My team and I are very supportive of the exciting opportunity to expand London Gatwick Airport, this will develop economic opportunities that creates jobs for my business. New passenger flows and markets to link up with the proposed Transmanche Metro link and tours market, supporting local attractions and connections across the Sussexes and Surrey and also across to Normandie and Kent for Hauts-de-France, to explore Vineyards and our places of remembrance. I am also excited to see that expanding Gatwick will help with mitigating immediate capacity concerns at London Heathrow, where over-flying Central London boroughs continues to be a major challenge, driving up pollution, stunting childrens lung growth and increasing pollution related illnesses and deaths. London Gatwick runway expansion offers an opportunity to avoid flying over heavily populated areas like the London Heathrow flight paths do across the Lambourne Stack into Redbridge, Waltham Forest, Islington, Lambeth, Wandsworth, Chiswick and Hounslow boroughs, impacting millions of people. I would champion you as Ambassadors for our great national infrastructure, that you partner with London Gatwick to deliver this expansion in an expedited manner, to ensure that our nation can grow its economy, creating jobs and wealth to develop revenue for our much loved public services, to further impove GDP and reduce inflationary pressures.
