The proposed increased use of Gatwick Airport’s Northern Runway would have a negative impact on my quality of life, in terms of increased pollution from aviation fuel and car petrol/diesel emissions; more noise; and people parking on my road while they are away to avoid airport parking fees. These would be direct, immediate and known impacts. Other impacts relating to the climate crisis may be immediate but definitely long term.
