I object to the increase and overall volume of flights into Gatwick Airport under these proposal to convert the emergency runway. In particular I feel the number of increased flights will effect my standard of life in respect of noice level low flying aircraft and the serious increase in the volume of passengers and the knock on effect this will have to both the general infrastructure of the air including road congestion. I also have a serious objection to the current and future use of night flights into Gatwick airport. I believe very strongly that all flights should curtail into Gatwick from midnight until 0600. The current and future plans to continue and increase night flights is simple unacceptable unnecessary and dangerous to local residents health and general welfare brought on by disruption to our sleep patterns etc. There is no need to expand the use of GatwickAirport other than for pure financial gain to faceless shareholders and executives of the company. Finally an emergency runway is an emergency runway and that is what it should continue to be used for EMERGENCIES….. I oppose the expansion of Gatwick Airport do not approve this application.
