The economic case for expansion is unconvincing and based on inflated assumptions. The expansion will lead to a large increase in flight noise and pollution which directly affects my home and quality of life. The increased pollution from transport links to the airport and from the flights themselves are not compatible with commitments to improve air quality. The Airport is disingenuous in saying that they are using an existing resource. The whole runway will have to be re-built and relocated to make it usable.
