We live in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that is currently already spoiled by the volume and associated noise of aircraft arriving/departing from Gatwick Airport. To increase the number of flights as proposed by Gatwick Airport by developing the Northern Runway will exacerbate the disturbance to intolerable levels, disrupt sleep at night time and place an even higher burden on the surrounding infrastructure around Gatwick and associated areas.
