It'd a vitally needed infrastructure project that benefits all of South East England. Not only in terms of business & employment opportunities, but travel too. Gatwick is one of the best connected airports in UK (I've been to 14 different UK airports, but Gatwick is the best). Lastly, extra capacity around London is desperately needed. So, to have both Jeathrow AND Gatwick expanding capacity, that can only benefit the whole country.
