Aircraft noise significantly impacts my quality of life. Additional aircraft movements will only serve to increase that impact and thus reduce my quality of life even further. My back garden is a no go zone due to aircraft noise, it is impossible to get any peace and quiet even when the prevailing wind is an easterly the noise impact is still regular and intrusive. Hot summer nights are stifling, we are faced with having windows open to mitigate heat build up but unable to sleep because of noise or closing the windows and curtains to reduce the noise levels but watch the heat levels build to a point where sleep is still is impossible. I urge you to refuse this planning application for the reasons I've given. If Gatwick are serious about expanding then the answer is to realign the runaway by a few degrees north or south of it's current alignment, this would ensure the vast majority of both take off and approach was done over open countryside not residential areas and could easily be achieved within the current curtilage.
