On aircraft noise impacts: I oppose this development based on increased noise at my location, particularly at night. The information presented on the 'Aircraft Noise Viewer' requires reference to Ch14 of the Environmental Impact assessment, to understand the terminology and references. I do not consider to be this accessible to the average person (me), and understanding the true impact on my address took some time. There are a number of assumptions made in the noise impact assessment of concern - lack of clarity over routes (FASI-South) and as stated assumptions around aircraft fleet transitions. On the latter point, no assurance is provided in the Statement of Expertise, therefore it seems prudent to use the Slow Transition figures - casts doubt on these impacts of the central case as written. On Local Economic Impacts: Difficult to extract any meaningful local benefits from the economic case, the local tourism aspect in particular comes across as weak - I'm more concerned about the impact of additional road journeys on already strained infrastructure (as referenced in Local Plans, etc.). Appears to be no plan to contribute to improving wider infrastructure in the local area whilst the plan uses the movement of people and benefits into the local area as a benefit (their capital investment strategy is understandably inwardly focused, on improving travel and access to/from the airport, not improving access and flow in the local area).
