I live directly on the flight path in Lingfield meaning my garden is very noisy with the amount of flights coming in and out of Gatwick. Recently the flights seem a lot lower meaning they are significantly louder and a lot more frequent being every 3 mins. It makes it almost impossible to have a conversation when out in my garden due to the noise the aircraft make and when the emirates A380 comes in, I can confirm it is impossible to have a conversation in the garden as it's so much louder. It has got significantly worse in the recent weeks and never used to be this bad. This makes me and my family not want to go in the garden as it's hard to enjoy due to the current noise and pollution. It's completely unreasonable to put on an additional 100,000 extra flights a year on the current flight path and means a lot of gardens in the village become completely unusable. We brought this house knowing flights stop during certain hours through the night and if they accept a 24 hour service from Gatwick this completely de-values our property and value of life we have here. I see no way this is a viable option and would like to be kept informed of the status of this application please. I have not seen any proposal that details how this is a viable and economic option.
