The frequency of planes coming over head through the day is such that we regularly have to stop conversations when we are outside and, when I am working at home, I have to keep the windows shut. The expansion of Gatwick will only make these matters worse and will deprive us of a break from this noise. The fact it goes against all of our country's intentions about addressing the climate crisis is also a significant cause of concern.
