I live under the flight path for Gatwick Airport and have done for over 20 years my quality of life is greatly affected now by the amount of flights taking off and arriving. They are too low, too frequent, too noisy and now too many arriving during the night. As I write this there are aircraft going overhead every 3mins. A gorgeous summer has been marred by the impact of this. There are many smaller airports around the country that could be opened up for commercial flights such as Biggin Hill which seems to be heading that way. The likes of Easyjet, RyanAir, Emerates and others who monopolise the airport should not be allowed to make decisions over us the individuals who live under their pathways.
