Recent noticeable increase in air traffic over dorking and concern over further impact on quality of life and environmental impact. Recent visitor to gatwick and travelled by train to airport and station very busy and local rail networks already struggling. Roads also don’t have sufficient capacity or scope for expansion. Travel by train abroad should be encouraged and made a cheaper option than flying which is currently not the case. Money should be put into rail networks rather than airport expansion.
