The proposed expansion of Gatwick would significantly increase aircraft noise. There should be a ban on night flights. The proposed expansion is inconsistent with net zero objectives and there is no fair basis for Gatwick to be made an exception. The proposed expansion would result in an unacceptable significant increase in pollution in the area. The local roads in the area are not capable of handling the increased traffic that will result from the proposed expansion. The proposed Gatwick expansion will have a huge adverse environmental effect on the local villages and towns and countryside. The only people to benefit will be Gatwick's shareholders at the cost of others. The economic benefits of expanding Gatwick are overstated and significant economic, social and environmental costs have been ignored and/or unreasonably understated.
