Object for the following reasons : 1-No need for this expansion at Gatwick, any demand can better be met by a north west runway at Heathrow which has massively better infrastructure and transport links than Gatwick. In accordance with the Airports National Policy Statement. 2- the impact on our village and those near by would be extremely detrimental as the transport infrastructure ,notably roads , already struggle to cope with the amount of traffic on them. More congestion, more delays, more pollution as a result and real danger to pedestrians, particularly primary school children at the school in Betchworth on the only feasible road through the village 3 - noise pollution 4 - will accentuate the existing flooding ( river mole) issues in Betchworth if Gatwick significantly scales up it’s operation
