The negative impact is fundamentally on all people and future generations and nature. We know the damage greenhouses gases have, it is indisputable! We cannot continue with such short term view points. This planet and us are being destroyed at an alarming rate, and this horrendous application is a very large step in the wrong direction! Focus instead on transport for the future, electric trains, electric buses, cycling, walking, e-scooters. We need these solutions and not another conduit to continue down the path of destruction. Fossil fuels, aviation, animal agriculture are all known to be big contributors to the climate and ecocological emergency. Why make things worse? Not only does this application go against the net zero carbon targets, the additional noise pollution it will create, the further enormous added pressure on already buckling, road and rail infrastructure, destruction to flora and fauna, it also goes against the current government's own aviation strategy! Create growth in long term green and sustainable industry, not short term negative polluting industry.
