Proposing another runaway at Gatwick to increase flights by 37 per cent and emissions as well will not comply with the CO2 reduction targets and our contribution to global warming. Apart from the additional noise, visual intrusion and pollution in an AONB , this proposal clearly has an economic benefit only to the stakeholders who are involved and no consideration for the wider impact on the local community, our environment and our commitment to global warming.
