Increase in noise and frequency of flights overhead. Over the years this has got worse and we are woken by the aircraft particularly during holiday season. It is bad enough that we sleep with windows closed even in the summer, even then we are sometimes woken. Some flights are very early. This is detrimental to our health. Increased pollution - detrimental to our health. Gatwick cannot cope with the numbers of flights and passengers with one runway - see recent problems experienced with numerous delays and cancellations. Flights between 11pm and 7am should be banned. We are supposed to be reducing carbon emmissions, not increasing them. Further to our previous objections on the grounds of pollution, noise, traffic we had not realised the impact on places like Hever Castle. As frequent visitors to the castle and the Hever Festival performances we are dismayed to realise the impact the additional runway would have. We have left a performance before due to the noise of aircraft on that evening - it was relentless and meant we could not hear the dialogue. The additional noise would totally spoil this magical place in future.
