I live in Beare Green, directly under the flight path. Any increase in the current air traffic will have a detrimental effect on air pollution and noise pollution. I live in an AONB and double the amount of planes will severely impact the relatively peaceful countryside. At present there are longish periods of quiet where I'm able to enjoy the sounds around me but I fear that these will become rare if a second runway is added. There will also be an impact on road traffic with more people travelling to the airport i.e. more pollution and more accidents.
