I live fortunately in a Area of Natural Beauty. Like most of Wealden a conservation area. In order to preserve the AONB on the ground there is strong protection to ensure the amenity is not ruined by building and noise etc yet when it comes to the skies above you cannot enjoy Ashdown Forest for low flying aircraft repeatedly flying below I am sure allowed levels with breaking the beauty of the area nevermind whatever pollution they cause. On any normal day its every minute there are planes going from one direction or another. What has recently become more noticeable is our home now is under a flightpath but there are more and more low flying aircraft but supposedly never lower than 2000ft mainly Emirates!! I could see people looking from their windows it's madness to even believe there is a slim chance that extra traffic would be encouraged to fly over parts of the country where it is on the ground designated an AONB when aircraft are destroying already this ambience. I totally understand supporting local business and I appreciate fully the need to ensure we are fit for purpose as a country but at the expense of the environment with the noise, pollution and the ruining of enjoyment of a protected area is something I hope will be looked at for this application. We need first before expansion is to ensure technology is there and that lives of the majority who do not fly to enjoy their amenity space without the hindrance of aircraft. Thank you.
