The proposal to further develop Gatwick will have a significant detrimental impact on Tunbridge Wells and neighbouring towns. I have previously written to Gatwick regarding the environmental impacts of low flying aircraft approaching Gatwick from the south east and they appeared totally unwilling and/or unable to do anything about it. There is no evidence to support their claim that they cannot route aircraft away from populated areas. Given this, how can they justify further development which will further impact surrounding communities?
