I think an extra runway will adversely impact people in the SW Kent area specially in the peak holiday times of the year - main school holidays- and also at weekends when.a lot of passengers tend to travel. The first disadvantage will be the noise pollution that certain inhabitants living under the flight path will have to withstand, with planes takingoff and landing in close succession. Secondly, the other main factor it will be the environmental and health impact that building of an extra runway will have on vegetation , wildlife and human health with increased aircraft pollution - fumes from fuel.
