I am concerned about the increased noise and air traffic in the local area as well as the damage to the environment and the health of the local population from the resulting noise and air pollution. I do not see how the expansion of Gatwick Airport can be justified given the dire warnings about the impact of these factors on our climate. Air travel should be reduced, not increased.
