We live on Ashdown Forest, an AONB. It is increasingly affected by noise pollution from Gatwick aircraft, affecting protected ground nesting birds and other wildlife, as well as residents. Any increase in air traffic is likely to push more routes over protected areas which should be preserved for animals, birds and humans to enjoy. The drive to get abroad should not affect our own home environment (for all) which needs to be sustained.
