I object to the use of the Emergency runway as a second runway as it will negatively impact me and my family with the increase in CO2 and other emissions which are known to negatively affect human health. The rural village I live in will be impacted by an increase in vehicular traffic as the local public transport to get to the airport is not adequate and people will invetabily resort to driving to the airport. There has already been issues with speeding through the villages which directly impacts me as a resident. The valet parking of vehicles by drivers who I've seen speeding on the rural roads will increase and cause even more lack of safety for other road users. As a runner, I will be put in more danger as the numbers of valet parking drivers increase.
