Gatwick Airport is busy enough already. And the way they run night flights shows low regard for nearby communities regarding noise. There are night restrictions with a limited number of flights, but Gatwick send off the allowed flights starting at 5:45am most weekends throughout the summer at about 20 minute intervals: just enough to get back to sleep before the next plane wakes me up. Getting triple glazing wouldnt help in the summer when we have to have a window open in hot weather. Their lack of concern when noise complaints have been raised shows they shouldnt be trusted to expand, which would include further communities under flight paths to suffer noise pollution.
