There is no point building another runway at Gatwick because the skies are already full. Thousands of flights have had to be cancelled this summer due to capacity issues, this is going to be an ongoing issue each summer. In addition, you may be aware that a climate emergency has been declared by a lot of authorities in an attempt to reduce carbon emissions. Rather than building runways there should be an increase in aviation passenger tax to discourage or eliminate cheap airfares.
