I live under the flight path for planes both arriving from a westerly direction and taking off in an easterly direction. The village of Leigh is a major turning point for flights from the south which then turn on to the final approach. We are constantly disturbed by the noise of planes particulalrly as they descend and turn on to the final approach. It means we are not able to fully enjoy the amenity of our garden. This is with the current level of activity. Increasing aircraft movements, particulary if they are focused on a narrower turning area, as I understand is planned, will only increase the level of disturbance and the negative effect on our amenity.
