Living here near Penshurst we are constantly subject to aircraft noise from and to Gatwick. Aircraft passing over us are making their final preparations for landing and therefore are 2,500 - 3,000 feet above us so as you can imagine are very loud almost every day. Even at night, especially in holiday time there a lot of aircraft above our cottage disturbing as because in the summer the windows are wide open. I can clearly hear the owls in the wood nearby so imagine how loud a jet airliner sounds by comparison. This is not fair. Many attempts have been made to help alleviate the situation but we are ignored at every turn; how can this be right? Does big money trump every consideration for any one and everything else...?
