My family and I have always lived in Crawley and I’m supportive of the current airport. However I have recently noticed that the planes are taking differing routes after take off. The planes are now coming directly over Crawley way more frequently. This is causing far more noise pollution. Particularly in the morning and night. This will only get worse if Gatwick expands. Unfortunately Gatwick also does not have the infrastructure to deal with the current amount of customers let alone more. The railways are already packed, the motorway is regularly stopped and the local infrastructure cannot cope. They hospital nearby also doesn’t have capacity to deal with an emergent at Gatwick. Sussex is too small to enjoy the benefits of a larger airport.
