Considering a second run way at Gatwick airport during a climate crisis is total folly. We should be encouraging people to reduce air travel rather an encourage it. Additionally to air pollution the level of noise pollution will increase. I am a resident of Tunbridge Wells a densely populated town which often has the misfortune of being in the flight path for Gatwick airport. The noise is often intrusive both day and late into the evening.
