I wish to register my objection to the proposed second runway at Gatwick. as I feel it would have a huge impact on one's everyday enjoyment of living in this area. Thee have been longstanding concerns from residents of Hever and surrounding villages about noise disturbance caused by flights to and from gatwick and I believe a new runway will increase aircraft movement by 37% over our heads meaning more noise and visual polution. I believe the Gatwick propasal will also result in a 70% increase in passenger numbers and a 50% increase in CO2 emissions not to mention the possible road and rail congestion. Low flying incoming aircraft to Gatwick already impact our lives in this village and any increase in their numbers would make this situation even worse. I am sure many people objecting to this runway proposal will be considering how it would affect the value of their property as well.
