As an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty we are already blighted by the noise and pollutants generated by the flights in and out of Gatwick, which I understand is not subject to any restriction in the time activity can take place. With the addition of a second runway and the potential for the number of flights to double the activity, noise and pollutant will increase significantly and could occur both day and night.
