I am very concerned about prospects to increase air traffic at Gatwick Airport. Aircraft regularly route over Tunbridge Wells, sometimes at very low altitudes, I was outside at one time last year when an large aircraft came over so low that I genuinely thought it might be in trouble. Aircraft usually turn (direction) over Tunbridge Wells - I observe them making the maneuver regularly so they are directly overhead. The noise made by frequent aircraft flying is disturbing (especially when low-flying) and especially so during the night hours. I oppose increasing runways at Gatwick and indeed wish that aircraft would reduce their routes over this town - certainly they should not be flying as low as they do. A big NO to further development of runways.
