Over the past twenty five years at my current address the aircraft noise has never increased more than in the past two years. The takeoff path has been directed almost over our property and the height of the aircraft varies to such a degree that on occasions speech cannot be heard beneath this flight path. The noise is unbearable now. In particular the contamination of our pond with a film of oil over the top has never been worse than today. Our wellbeing and health is deteriorating because of aircraft pollution. I have developed [REDACTED] and a cough through working in the garden beneath the flight path. The air stinks of aviation fuel in the mornings and a dome of spent fuel leaves its traces on ponds, ditches and streams in the Beare Green area. The last thing needed here is a second runway. I object strongly to any further development at Gatwick Airport because it is my family and I that suffers the never ending noise, pollution and discomfort from this tiresome mode of transport.
