I oppose the application to create the emergency runway into a permanent one. The increase noise pollution will be noticeable and impact mental health. Myself and my family regularly visit areas such as Hever Castle and the surrounding areas as a way of managing stress levels and escaping the noise of our local areas which are already polluted with the sound of aeroplanes. To be able to escape and hear the birds and wind is key to mindfulness and relaxation. This will impact future generations in them finding places to escape to. This seems like a greedy move to increase flights when air ports can’t even manage with the flights they have already.
