With the drive towards net zero by 2050, airport expansion together with all associated car/lorry movements around the area is the very last thing we need. The surrounding infrastructure will not currently support such an undertaking, and who will fill the additional jobs created? Also the extra flights will greatly add to the noise pollution in the area.
