As a resident of Dormansland we are currently overflown directly by aircraft every few minutes during day time and frequently but less often at night. currently it is not possible to hold a conversation outdoors or with windows open without having to stop every few minutes due to the constant air traffic. Another runway must further increase this major health and environmental issue as more incoming aircraft will be using much the same automated flight path. i was under the impression that Heathrow had been selected as appropriate for an additional runway thus sparing this semi rural area of the country from further noise and fuel pollution ..Additional air traffic will only add to the health hazard and sleep deprivation currently experienced and it seems inappropriate for some authorities to promote low traffic neighbourhoods throughout the country whilst allowing this excessive polluter and healthy hazard. i am firmly against this commercial proposal which can only be at the expense of the health and peaceful enjoyment of local residents.
