Gatwick Expansion The expansion of Gatwick emergency airport runway in to a fully used second runway will have a major impact on the quality of life where I live at Hever Kent. The noise at present is at times hard to deal with , having so many more flights will make the enjoyment of living in a unspoilt part of the uk more difficult. Night flights have already increased so who knows how bad it could get,these already impact sleep! I also work at (redacted), a real jewel in the UK’s historical past and one which is enjoyed by many visitors and locals looking to escape the noise of town or city life . The expansion will impact this hugely and (redacted) I feel could become a less attractive place to visit or be an annual member or to choose for your big family occasion. This impacts someone like me and my colleagues as we need those visitors to keep us in employment . Places like (redacted) need to be preserved for future generations to learn its history and enjoy . So I am opposed to the expansion not only as I am employed locally but as a resident of a wonderful Area of outstanding beauty which is already impacted by the noise of planes flying directly over head.
