I wish to object to the proposed extension to Gatwick Airport. The impact on the many local residents affected should override the greed of the owners of the airport, many of whom have no interest in anything except the financial returns. Having just moved to the South Coast after spending 40 years living underneath the flight path east of Gatwick, I fully appreciate the nuisance and disturbance my family and I suffered. All through that time, Gatwick airport have continued in their selfish aims without a care for the impact they have on those affected. A 30% increase in traffic doesn’t bare thinking about.
