I work and live directly under the current flight path, and the current level of noise pollution is already too high. this summer when the night time temperatures were hot and the windows had to be open it was impossible to get a good night sleep due to the excessive noise of the now low flying aircraft. it was incessant all night every night. To get any rest/sleep the windows had to be closed to at least lessen some noise, this lead to an impossibly hot environment in which to rest/sleep which negatively impacted my mental and physical health. Sleep patterns are also disrupted through the cooler months due to noise pollution entering my home, any increased flights will have a negative effect on my physical/mental health, and those of my friends and neighbours . i wonder if any noise level surveys have been included in decision making at this point ?? also have any soft tissue samples have been taken of the local fauna to examine current aircraft pollution (fuel/engine exhaust) levels, and will this be monitored and published.
