I chose to live in beautiful quiet countryside in 2003. Over the last 20 years the aircraft noise has become incessant. I sleep with earplugs and have the double glazed windows shut yet the planes still disturb my sleep. Sleep is a human right and planes should not be landing all night. Why can’t the flight path be widened as promised and why can’t the planes stay higher for longer and why are east jet planes so incredibly noisy?
